Wind Power Generation Surges as Southwest Monsoon Strengthens Across Tamil Nadu's Southern Districts

Wind power generation has increased significantly as southwest monsoon winds continue to blow strongly across Tamil Nadu's southern districts.

With the state's installed wind power capacity at 9,495 MW, today's peak generation was recorded at 6,342 MW, while average generation stood at 5,456 MW. Officials stated that total daily wind power output reached 130.94 million units.
