Aadi Perukku Festival

Aadi Perukku, the traditional Tamil water festival celebrated on the 18th day of the Tamil month Aadi, falls on August 3 this year. The government transport corporation is running special buses from Chennai (Kilambakkam and Koyambedu) from July 31 to August 3 to help people travel to their hometowns for the celebration.

• Re-entry not allowed once you've left the venue
